North from the onset wanted their smart glasses to look like regular glasses because smart glasses never seemed to look very smart. The Focals are packed with technology and a display that only the user can see. Linked to your phone via Bluetooth, you can access people and the information you need so you can stay on top of your day. Focals will not replace your monitor so don't count on watching the game with them. Focals will simply display the notifications you would normally get on your phone plus some voice control and navigation applications. The focals were designed to enhance and not to distract.
Google purchased North on June 30, 2020.

The navigation for the Focals are achieved via the Loop ring accessory. A joystick-like button on the face of the ring allows you to move up, down, left, and right in the Focals' display.
